My first attempt at Mini Rose Cupcakes, what do you think? I used a #20 star tip. I’m still new to this! Any tips?

Cupcake Ingredients

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 Tbsp unsalted butter,softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup Milk (for a softer cake, substitute with Buttermilk)
2 Tbsp maple syrup

Whipped Cream Frosting Ingredients

3 cups heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1tsp vanilla extract
red food coloring

Directions

Mix Ingredients like you would any other cupcake recipe (dry vs wet.) Bake at 350 degree for 15-17 minutes!

A few tips:
•Take cupcakes immediately out of baking pan after they are done. Allow cupcakes to completely cool before frosting.
• To make an easier and faster baking & clean up: measure your ingredients ahead of time.
•Use room temperature ingredients (butter, eggs, etc.)
•Have Fun!

If my recipe inspires you, please post up and tag me your results!

Oh my gosh! These look yummy! I added Buttermilk instead of Regular Milk. They don’t rise & puff as much as batch#1. *previous photo.

My “Lovely Chocolate Cupcakes” look like Chocolate muffins. Oh well, trial & error! We all start somewhere! Giada De Laurentis was not born an amazing cook/baker.

It started with a recipe. I don’t know about you but I love making things from scratch. Here’s a photo of my latest work; a sneak peek of my “Lovely Chocolate Cupcake Recipe.” I’m testing out different ingredients but so far I’m liking this one!
